QUIKSILVER
Honored to have been able to work for one of the largest surfwear brands. Founded in 1969 the mountain and wave is iconic as it gets. I was able to work on a wide range of Quiksilver brick and mortar, online, and media assets in 2019 & 2020. Below you can see various event posters t-shirts and digital adds I created.
Challenge
My largest challenge at Quik where I made instore signage, displays, windows, and social media assets was the transition from school projectors were I had free rein on direction and amount of time dedicated to each project. For example my projects on this page are largely event based. Which came with more creative leeway but tighter timelines.
Solution
I became accustomed to higher volume quicker turn over during my time at Quik, but when I got a chance to work on one off jobs, I called them side quests, I wanted to pack some of my own style or design sensibility into the poster, flyer, adds, and tees. These film releasing, contests and concerts were always such a rad gathering of like minded crews. In designing for them I tried to display that energy with the branding for each of them to drive engagement and attendance.
